Dr. Wendy Saunders
Dr. Saunders was raised in Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate work. She left Wyoming for the North West and graduated from Oregon State University. She finished her studies in 1995 and received her DVM from Washington State University. She practiced in Nevada and Oregon before buying a clinic in Wyoming which was sold in 2010 and made her permanent move to Olympia. Dr. Saunders worked at Healthy Pets since 2011 before leaving to take over Chambers Prairie.
She shares her house with 3 dogs, 2 inside birds, 5 chickens, and 2 teenage children. In her spare time she enjoys trying to make 2 of her most favorite things happen: baking anything chocolate and growing fresh tomatoes. Dr. Saunders and her big black dog have logged quite a few miles on the Chehalis Western Trail and sometimes she can even get the kids to accompany her.
Brian Green - Hospital Manager
My life revolves around my family. I met my wife Kelly in 2002 when we both joined the Peace Corps and headed to Lesotho in southern Africa. Once we got out we moved to Olympia and planted our roots here. With time came our two beautiful daughters, Elliot and Josie. Along the way we took in 1 cat, 1 dog and multiple fish. Majoring in drawing from Arizona State University was an obvious gateway to the veterinary field, although I didn't know it at the time. For the last 13 years or so I have moved up from a kennel cleaner to assistant to dabbling in tech duties and eventually management. It's very exciting to be joining Dr. Wendy Saunders in this adventure. I look forward to providing the best care possible to the pets of our new community.
