Position Details

• Role: Pet Care Attendant
• Status: Part-time
• Salary: $17.13 per hour
• Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

We are seeing a compassionate and dedicated part-time Animal Care Professional to join our team. In this part-time role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our feline and canine patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and attention to our hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by cleaning and sanitizing kennels and specific parts of the hospital.
• Collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
• Ensure patients are walked after surgery or while hospitalized

Qualifications:

• A genuine interest in the commitment and welfare of the patients
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols for cleaning and sanitation
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the role, including cleaning, lifting, and being on your feet for most of the day
