Wendy Saunders, DVM

Dr. Saunders was raised in Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate work. She left Wyoming for the Northwest and graduated from Oregon State University. She finished her studies in 1995 and received her DVM from Washington State University. She practiced in Nevada and Oregon before buying a clinic in Wyoming which was sold in 2010 and made her permanent move to Olympia. Dr. Saunders worked at Healthy Pets since 2011 before leaving to take over Chambers Prairie.

She shares her house with 3 dogs and 2 inside birds. Her two grown children have already flown the coop. In her spare time, she enjoys trying to make 2 of her favorite things happen: baking anything chocolate and growing fresh tomatoes.
